Children's Savings Initiative
The Hawaii Island Children's Savings Initiative is a collaborative effort to help children on Hawaii Island open and maintain a savings account and learn the value of saving, while nurturing a culture of sharing and caring. Collaborating partners are: The Hawaii Alliance for Community Based Economic Development (HACBED), Hoowaiwai Network - State and Hawaii Island, Dr. Micheal Cheang, local schools, local credit unions, and other private and nonprofit organizations.
